Arto Lehtolainen, DI will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Characterization and performance modeling of non-imaging solar X-ray spectrometers and their use in analyzing solar eruptions" in the Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki, on 29 April 2024 at 13:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Porthania, PIII, Yliopistonkatu 3.
professori Säm Krucker, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, will serve as the opponent, and Emilia Kilpua as the custos.
The dissertation will be published in the series Dissertationes Universitatis Helsingiensis.
